Is it normal for the comfort indices to differ from my perception?
Yes, that is normal if the deviation is not too large.
The comfort models we use, such as the PMV model for thermal comfort, are usually based on the average perception of a large population.
It is challenging to take into account individual differences such as age, gender, metabolism and health status in mass-produced products. And since the Ressourcenwächter, as a self-sufficient system, is not/does not need to be connected to the internet, the effects of the outside weather are also not taken into account. Furthermore, the accuracy and placement of the sensors can still influence the results.
It is normal for there to be a small discrepancy between the measurement result and your subjective perception. If you notice a larger discrepancy, the sensors may need to be recalibrated, see Sensor Calibration. If the problem persists after recalibration, please contact us.
